For the love of God tell me where the VTEC pressure switch is on a JDM B18C!
Someone please tell me where it is b/c I have no clue. Don't tell me it's on the VTEC solenoid either b/c there is no place to screw it in on a JDM B18C!
My JDM B18C-R was same way, they have the hole but no switch. It goes in the hole u can see in the pic, kinda under and rearward of the vtec solenoid.

95civicex is correct, on 96 and up motors from japan, there are no vtec oil pressure switch. the ecu gets the signal from the vtec solenoid

I've seen them on Ebay for around 40-70 bucks. I just checked and there are none currently available. In general i've heard they are inexpensive...

you just need the sensor it looks like , i just had to replace mine on jdm motor. from the honda dealer for the b16 jdm it was 50 bucks. Its like a nut screw with the sensor comming out of it. Tell them too look it in the valve timming section, then its the oil pressure switch. I think that is what you need, = p
i might be tired but its the thing on the picture in the middle above the hose near the bottom that is like a 23 mm bolt.

I have JDM B16A2 in my EG civic, but i don't have that switch or a place to hook up that switch. Can some one please tell me why???? so just incase i need that switch i took the Vtec solenoid from my friend B16A3 Delsol which has a Vtec pressure switch, and wire the blue wire to D6 on my P30 JDM ECU. so my question is why my JDM B16A does have a Vtec pressure switch
