Programing features or programing a remote?

Is the remote start connected? 94

if its a remote start/alarm make sure you have the right door trigger wire (green wire from brain for negative door trigger) hooked up.....check ignition wire from remote start and make sure its tapped on right or soldered right.

make sure your valet is not unplugged or cut somewhere.

to see if one of these are the problem just arm it and open the driver door and see if it triggers and for the ignition it should lock and unlock the doors when turning key on and off or it will also trigger the alarm if turn on when armed or just remotestart it cause without the ignition it should not start.

try it if you don't want to get into the wires to test it, but if all that works my guess is that it your valet.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Well that doesn't answer anyone's questions.

For the alarm to work, [and programing] you do not need the "Relay Satellite", [remote start] that's why I asked, and needed to know, if you had it connected.

I also asked Programing features or programing a remote? because I need to know, programing a remote is done differently then programing features.

You will need at least the Red, [12V+] black, [ground] green, [neg. door trigger] white, [light flash output] of the main harness connected, you will need the pink lead in the ribbon harness, [main brain end] connected to an ign. source, ideally a "true ign.", [hot in run and start] you also need the LED and valet/program button plugged in.
If you still can not get into programing mode, programing has been locked out with a "Bitwriter" and will need a Bitwriter to unlock it. 94

PS, getting into programing mode, either "Transmitter Learn Routine" or "System Feature Learn Routine" is a sequence of things, like open door, turn ign. on then off, press and hold valet/program button until siren chirps once, [menu 1] if you keep holding the button programing will jump to menu 2, [the siren will chirp twice] and 3 times for menu 3, once you are in the menu you want you would release the valet/program button and select the feature you want to program by pressing the valet/program button the proper number of times and so on, this all has to be done in order and within a set amount of time.

If everything is hooked up correctly it could be locked by a Bitwriter
