help guys, i just did a 5-speed conversion and now my abs light stays on and my speedo doesnt work.

sometimes the speedo works, then it suddenly dies.

any suggestions on what might be the problem???

 

first....all those @@@@@@@@ werent quite needed....
second....abs light could mean several things...whens the last time you got your brakes worked on...you might have a leak? some...more info
third...did you connect the cables correctly? or did you bend them or something?

 

ok, i think i found the problem, the left outer cv joint i got wasnt the one for my car.
my car has abs and the one i got wasnt for an abs car, so the abs sensor couldnt pick it up.

but do u know why my speedo is wacked?

 

oh ok ...yeah that would be a problem....bout the speedo...like i said cables..other than that i dunno...i cant think right now...ask me again in the morning...haha goodnight!

 

you might have gotten air in the speed sensing doo dad on the tranny whatever it is called (cant think of the name it is way too late)
