Modify z6 dizzy?
I already have the y8 dizzy and the B7 one... the y8 wont woek bc its missing a plug that the Cx harness has and the y8 dissy dosent. The B7 dizzy is still sluggish, but feels better than the B8 that I had in there.

On another note, are you sure your ignition/mechanical timing is correct?</TD></TR></TABLE>
How would I know the ignition is in timing? Also how would I do this?I know the engine its self is in timing bc I drove the car that I took it out off.

Do you have a timing light?
Also, just because the engine runs, doesn't mean the timing is correct.

I know for a fact the engine is in its proper time... I drove the donar car a few time and ran perfect no problems at all. Ill try retarding or de retarding it the dizzy to see if this might be the issue. After all it is a P28 ECU running a Y8 which was never made to run the Y8 unless chiped with the Y8 map on it. Thanks for all your guys help... Ill inform on the situation as soon as I can.

Actually, first an foremost, get the right distributer for your head. It's MUCH easier to modify your wiring harness than it is to moify a distributer to fit a different head.

All the distributors I mentioned are compatible with his head. The z6/z1/d15b distributors are not compatible.
