possibly the ignition switch... but this could be impossible to diagnose over the internet because of all the possible things that could be wrong.

my 95 had some weird problems like this that i never figured out. i unplugged my map sensor and it ran good. so i tried replacing the sensor and had the same problem. and the voltage from the sensor was perfect. the CEL said map sensor tho. i also had an idle surge that i never figured out. i tried all the common causes and still couldnt fix it.

ok guys I think it is the ignition switch, it doesn't go into position number 2. and when it is in position number 3 and I let the key go it turns off. what can be the problem? can I fix it without replacing it?
