so i just put my b16 together after shaving the rods an getting it all put together...
b16 with b16b pistons
acl bearings.. sk2st1 cams
2000 jdm itr head with stock valves an sk2 dual springs an ti retainers
pro series cam gears ect..

so I set the timing an rotated it by hand about 10 times.. all was smooth no binding or contact what so ever.. so i was looking on the b series calculator an it says my piston to deck height is 0.000
that really worris me but i know this is a very common build so do you guys think ill have an issues with valves hitting the pistons....

 

It should be 0.020

someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

PCT should be out of the hole, mine were +0.015". You should not have any clearance problems with those cams but best to check to be sure.

 

thats actually the same measurment that i got... just had me worried about the slightly larger cam (sk2st1) an the fact that i didnt get the valve relief pockets cut deeper. but i just put the plugs in an rotated by hand an then pulled them an they didnt touch either so i think ill b ok.. i just havnt clayed a motor an i wish i did so im just being cautious
