Default so I'm goin sohc turbo, new questions :)

I've got a STRONG d15b7, 1 owner, owner owned a mienike, oil change every 2700 since 93 and i bought it 2 years ago with 100k and it now has 130k, dont know if this matters but its the canadian version too. My girl has a d16z6 doesnt really understand the diffrence but its not as strong as mine. my d15b7 stomps her d16z6 no matter whos driven, it actually beats any other d16z6 with bolt ons around here. But ive been told since its vtec I want to swap them anyways. Should I keep My d15b7 or take her d16z6 and turbo it. the z6 is at 140k still prty strong but not like mine.

Do your share of searching, but the d16z6 is a far better base to turbo than a b7.

The z6 is a stronger engine unless it has not been maintained well. When comparing stock blocks, the z6 can withstand more stress than a b7.

Also, if you're going to build the block, the b7 will be much more expensive.
