install cost
Nobody here can tell you what the labor rate will be at your preferred shop. You'll have to call around and ask yourself.
If you install them yourself, it's effectively "free."

It's a pretty easy job. But if you don't feel up to the task, pay someone to do it.
A friend of mine who likes to have everything done by a shop for peace of mind paid in the area of $20 for each shock/spring they put in.
However, prices will vary.

depending on the shop...$100-$300. If your paying that much to get your suspension installed, might as well never log on to HT again.
The process is very easy, there are plenty of DIY's out there. I remember when my buddies and i were still in highschool, we dropped my cousins DA and Lude with no experience what so ever. Its a learning experience...

honestly i'd be very concerned about the quality of work that may be performed by any shop that quotes you less then $100.
that said, like everyone else is saying, do it yourself. its very straight foward. it may take some time on your first attempt, but its really not hard. all that is necessary is a jack, jack stands, a set of basic wrenches/sockets, and a spring compressor that you can borrow for free from autozone.
