Head Gasket finished now problems
i got a rust free 1991 CRX Si 1.6L for free but it had a blwon head gasket, i fixed it and it runs but after it warms up and you shut it off it steams but there is nothing that is broken. coolent leaks on the ground but i cant find where it is leaking from any ideas??? could the top of the block be warped?
no over heating and it runs. it runs just as good as anyones car it just steems from where the thermostat housing is at but i cant find any leaks.
Ok so i see you said the coolant leaks on the ground so there is a leak that must be dealt with. Put a peice of cardboard down under the car with some weight on it to hold it in place. This will then at least show you the location of the leak.

Check your thermostat....get a new housing gasket and reseal

I have seen hair-line cracks in blocks that will weep or leak, almost invisible to the naked eye. But first check that thermostat housing and replace the gasket
