Default Project Ls/R

so i have a 93 integra ls 4dr, and i am planning to buy a b18c-r this coming summer, i want to change all the internals before dropping it in, it would help if you would be able to help me out on what different components you put in the engine and how well it has performed on a rate of 10, and in 2009 i plan on buying a turbo kit, i wanted a supercharger but for the money to horsepower, its not worth it,

so i came up with a little list of the things i want to have in it,
Spoon sports piston w/ rings kit
Metal head gaskets
AEM High Volume fuel rails
Pulstar Pulse Spark Plugs

Thats about it for now

LOL, WTF?

a) Don't turbo a Type R engine.

b) Understand the pros and cons of superchargers and turbos. Hint: Power band vs peak power - which is best suited for your intended vehicle use.

c) Do you even understand what kind of an application the pistons you listed below are designed for? Defiantly not boost. Read on to find out some more about your Spoon piston selection.

Just one Spoon piston, huh? Do you understand the fact that Spoon pistons are nothing more then OEM JDM ITR Pistons? Spoon buys lots of pistons from Honda, then matches up the closest weighing pistons and sells it in a set. This balance is designed for road racing where reliability depends most.

Most, if not all head gaskets are metal. BTW, you only need one. Not two.

You only need one fuel rail. Not two. OEM fuel rails are sufficient up to around 500 WHP, and even then you won't benefit from one unless you run new bigger lines from the pump to the fuel filter/fuel rail.

Stick to NGK's. And don't list Spark Plugs as a mod, that is idiotic. Are you going to list your oil brand as a mod too? How about your tire pressure PSI?

BTW, GTFO

OP: All though you may be all excited about your project and what not, the reality of it may not be what you are looking for. Ask yourself:
Are my funds in place?
What if something goes wrong with the build, how will I drive myself to work/school/etc?
What do I want to do with the car? Auto-X, HPDE, Track *****, DD?
Are my funds in place?
Are my funds in place?

Simply from what you have written it sounds that you have quite a bit of learning and reading to do. Don't fret though. We all have to learn some time. None of us are born being automotive geniuses. Well...some of us I kid...I kid. I strongly suggest that you research this a bit more on your own before jumping on an internet forum to ask for help on parts that you may not know much about. Now hop to it!

Turbo charging a stock B18C5 is not so much of a good idea. Don't ask me how I know.

okay sorry that i put "s" on the end of some words, its a common mistake, and why do you think i made this forum, so i can get more info on parts that i came across buddy, the whole purpose of this is that i can get some more information before i do this, i have read forums on superchargers vs. turbo's, even tho i dont know everything that why i asked, im not gonna come across and pretend like i know everything, i also do understand how much the engine costs, why do you think i am getting it in the summer and not putting it in for another year, i wasnt born yesterday
