hey what is the best thing to do with a ls engine? .. i was thinking ls/vtec? and how much would that cost me

 

depend on what you put in and who does the work. ~3 to 5K

 

It really depends on what you want from the car and how much are you willing to Spend. What kind of driving do you want to do ? Track, Auto cross or grocery getter. I'd suggest you search around and see what best fits you. Forced Induction or LS/VTEC is in that price range.

Yup, just boost 8psi or so with stock internals some cheap kit or if u can a junkyard turbo

 

Try a SEARCH as well. There Mst be a ton of ARCHIVED topics about LS and LSVTEC etc etc.

Personally I'd do a Turbo cause it seams that the engine is Stock setup for Light Turbo.

Low compression and Long Gears on the tranny. Can boost 6-8 pounds with out a problem
