Default cam help

i just bought some kms springs and ti retainers. i need help on cam selection. my build consists of b18c1, itr pistons, b16a head. this is goin to be my daily driver so nothing to crazy. i dont want to have to spin this thing to the moon. i would like to stay under 9000rpm if possible. i dont know what a stock bottom end can take.

normally you pick the cams first, then the springs. stop making so many posts and read....

Lol, 9k...... I have to ask what cam do you think you are going to use that will make power up there?

Ok, so you don't know how to search.

I think JCushing was giving you some good advice. Rather than marching thru like a bull in a china shop why not try a different tact. Like what set-ups are people running that make good power? Answer, see the all motor dyno thread at the top of this forum.

thats sound advice. i went with buddyclub IV cams. they seem to be pretty well liked. i am not too familiar with the b series. i built an f23 in my last car and even with a bisimoto stg 2.2 cam, i shifted at 6500rpm. i hope this build runs as good.

my point is that you match the valvesprings to the cams your running, now that you picked your cam does your KMS vtrain match it?
