Does a new cd player increase the watts at all or is it more of a cosmetic thing? I got new alpine speakers, which definately made a difference but the stock cd player fries all my cd's literally. After like a few days the cd will be destroyed and it heats up to rediculous levels. This is my 3rd stock cd player btw (god bless warranties).

i think it sounds pretty good for a stocky.. i might just throw in an aftermarket amp and new speakers ans still rock the bose

I might be the only one who thought it sounded like garbage. It gives bose a bad name. Oh and that tiny 5 inch sub does nothing for be either.
