Type-S stereo system quality?
I'm getting a type-s wed, and I just wanted to know about the quality of the stereo.
The stock speakers on the base RSX rocks, but not with the stock cd player, which blew ***. I put in an alpine and the quality is impeccable.
My question is, should I just return my cd player and keep the type-s stock cd player? Or is it not that good and just install my alpine in the type-s?

i think the aftermarket headunit is better cuz it has auxilary jacks in the back. so incase you wanna do other things with ur system, than its cool. stock rsx-s headunit doesnt. i wanna connect my ipod to the type s headunit, but i cant do it without auxilary jacks. so im stuck using the damn tape deck adapter

Re: Type-S stereo system quality? (integra type s)
yo if you want the best quality for your ipod, get the alpine kca-420i adapter. I SWEAR BY THIS!!! OMFG, you'll never get any other kind of quality from compressed music. I have the cda9827 head unit, and the MX function makes the quality insane. The interface is only 100 bucks. Highly recommended if you want to use you ipod in the car!!!
