Default b20 block LS head boost in the future

Hey guys. I have a stock 95 b18b1 in my 95 coupe right now. Going to do some boost in the future. The car is my DD and i want to build the block but thats kinda hard since i need to drive the car. Do you think that if i built a b20 block with some better pistons, rods and got it sleved that if i put the b18b1 head on it it would make some decent power? i would then boost the setup probably 10 psi looking for around 250-275 whp. I was just wondering if the LS head is better than the b20 im figuring it is since the LS makes more HP than the b20. not really sure why though i was hoping someone could it to me. thanks for any help or links you guys can show me, i tried searchign but found not alot except for using the LS cams or intake manifold with the b20 head.

For 275whp I would find yourself another B18b1 block. Seems pointless to buy a B20 block just to turn around and sleeve it for such a low whp goal. Sleeving usually runs about 1k. Why spend that much when you can get a B18b1 shortblock used for less than 100 and have a light hone etc for about 150 if that?

ARP rod bolts with a stock head will do just fine with 250-275whp. No mods to the head are needed. Maybe upgrade the rods/pistons if you have future plans for higher numbers.
