what color oem bearings to use with eagle crank/rods?
i am building a block using an eagle lightweight crank and eagle rods. i am trying to figure out what color oem honda bearings i should use with this build. any help is greatly appreciated.
Chances are, you are not going to need just one color bearing. To get nice uniform clearances you normally need multiple colors. If you just want to slap it together and call it a day, you can run all green bearings. I do not recommend this! ( green is the middle of the road bearing)
The proper way to do it is to measure everything and choose the bearings that will give you the clearances that you want.
Try to get #1,#2,#4, and #5 as close as possible to each other. Run #3 a couple of ten thousandths looser.
