Default Does Anyone Use Wiseco Pistons Your B18C1 Bored To 84MM?

Their website and one of the rep. say "no". Hard to believe this is the case.

wiseco pistons in a 84mm sleeved b18 block? one of the most common used size and applications....

The Wiseco B20VTEC pistons are what you are looking for.
Yes, I have used them.

I ask the Wiseco rep. what pistons to use with my B18C1 84mm bored block. His answere:"I don't know" He proceeded to look it up and came back and said "...the biggest size we have is 82mm..". I then said "Since you have pistons that spec for CRV/Vtec that is 84mm rate at 11CR, can I use that?". He then said "It is possible that you can do some sort of modification to make it work"

The biggest pistons you can use on a B18C with stock sleeves is 82mm.
You'll have to resleeve the block for 84mm pistons.

They are probably unfamiliar with the specifics of B series motors.
Just pick one of the b20/ls vtec piston applications and use a compression calculator.
Youll need the compression height and dome volume.

Talk to Jeff at Blueprint MFG., he is a WD for Wiseco and has sold more B-series pistons than most.

he's probably a noob. can't blame him. give them a call back and try talking to someone with more experience.

to the op the 84mm wisco pistons will be fine i have built many b18c motors with them no problem
