Default wiseco pistons

im fixing to order some.. but lol i dont know wut bore size my LS (B18B1) block is.. im guessin its 81 mm ??

Yes, it's 81mm. But if your going to throw in new pistons it's always advisable to bore it out to 81.5mm (.020") over and get pistons to match it to ensure each cylinders roundness. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

i kinda get what ur saying.. so since its 81mm .. and i get the 81.5mm... then take my block and give the people one of my piston to match it up nice and tight while my block get honed. should work great right?

Your block is 81mm now. If you get pistons, Get some really good ones like CP. Get your block bored/honed to 81.5(.020")over. Then purchase the pistons to the EXACT size as the bore. Here's a link for you to read up on engine building.

you dont need really good pistons like cp.
get some p30 or ctr pistons. they will do the same job.
what is your set up.
all motor or turbo

thanks for that write up mannn..really appricate it.. but i can pretty much afford wiseco pistons.. CP's are to expensive.. but yea my set up is a b18b1 turbo.. im rebuilding everything.

and follow that link to your best. Everything in that article you will need to replicate. Engine building is not like toy model building, be very precise and don't cheap out on it either cuz you'll pay for it in the long run.
