Hi Im goin to upgrade my fuel system to 440 injectors with the vafc and a friend of mine at the shop said to run the Vortech 8:1 FMU
I see that there is a Recalibration kit for the 8:1 for 241b injectors, DO I NEED THIS????
Anyone no a good place to get he fmu?

unless you are doing the hack, you won't idle 440s properly.
yes you need a recalibration kit to change the rate of your FMU. you prolly want a 6:1 w/ injectors that big. I really don't recommend that fuel set up though.

From what I know the Vafc Hack is just full of sh*t and works like crap
440cc Injectors is the choice injectors for the vafc or hondata or any other fuel management!???
U dont need a missing link for the vafc
I just wanted opinions on the fmu cause my friend at the shop runs all their cars with that setup makin way over 300 hp

Alot of people on here have been using the afc hack quite succesfully, so I dont think that it is complete ****. But, it does change with elevation so it needs to be recalibrated on long oad trips....another thing, I think the 4:1 disk is what to use with 440's
