Sup guys i have a 1988 crx with a b18a not vtec engine with ls tranny and i wanted to know how i could make it vtec. Also what is the best way to get rid of rust on under the car.

under? on what parts? quarter panels or maybe the parts actually under the car? maybe include some pics? if it isnt that bad you may be able to buff it out, really depends include some exact pics then i can lead you.

 

and yes you can make it vtec...jus get a b16 head with proper distributor for your obd, vtec ecu, ls vtec kit and you should change your rod bolts to arp rod bolts so you can rev higher. its also best if u change your pistons but i think you can get away with stock pistons if u dont beat on it to much. as far as i can remember thats pretty much all you need and you'll have a pretty quick motor

vtec is like rushed sex.....your tryin to do your own thing but the girl wants to get pounded so you go from one speed to a little bit quicker one....help out at all?

If you want vtec, you have two options. One, swap a vtec motor in there. OR, swap a vtec head(lsvtec). Here's some good info about lsvtec's:
