Oh and im doing a full JDM B16A SIR2 and the mechanic told me that me switching the fuel-pump to a B16 fuel pump is not gonna make a difference ????
Oh and one non-related b16 question ....... do only automatic cars come with transmission speed senor ......

I did the same swap into my EJ2 and I didn't change the fuel pump. I had a 1.5L SOHC engine and it doesn't seem to be starving for fuel. The way to check is to check and see if the part number to a 1994 Del Sol VTEC (1.6L DOHC VTEC) matches the part number to your car.
And yes, Automatic cars come with VSS.

Yes manual cars come with VSS. When I bought my engine, the VSS was broken so I had to replace it but I didn't know that for a few days and thus, VTEC did not work because VTEC works off of the VSS.

Sorry i think he did mention something about the GSR ...... but in regards to B16's he said no about dual springs on intake or exhaust or more specific he said not on mine .......
True all B-series Vtec engines did come with dual intake springs. But only the B16b, USA B18C type r , JDM B18C 96 type r had dual exhaust valve springs. And manual B series trannys do have a vss sensor also.

isn't VTEC activated by oil pressure?
or is a combo of a bunch of factors?

Its a combination of speed, temp., and oil pressure. All three have to meet a certain point before VTEC will engage.
To the OP: Look around for a new VSS. I bought mine used for $30 and installed it in 5 minutes. $85 is a bit steep for something you could easily do yourself IMO.

Oil press
Coolant at operating temp
VSS reading around 15mph, IIRC
RPM
VTEC hardware/software/wiring in good working condition
Throttle position
Your speedo doesn't have to work for VTEC to work. Your ECU just has to have a VSS signal. The manual transmisson cars also came with a VSS. VSS means vehicle speed sensor. So they all have one.
You dont absolutely need the DOHC pump, but it may be a good idea depending on what grade of gas is available to you and how hot it gets or how hard you plan on driving the car.
There's really no need to get a huge *** pump unless you're really building the motor (NA) or going turbo. What's the point? If you can find a Si pump for cheaper, do it.
