JDM B16A PR3 valvetrain question?
I already searched but I could not find the answer to my question. I just bought a used motor from somebody, and he said it is a JDM SIR2. The block says B16A and the head is 93 PR3-3. I noticed dual valve springs on the intake side but single valve spring on the exhaust side. Is this normal for B16? Sorry if this is such a dumb question, I'm new to B world. This is my first B engine I work with. I only worked with H and F engines in the past. Thanks!

quick guide to making some distinctions.
92+ motors can be from either EG or DA differences are in the mount as well as in the fuel rail. but otherwise identical

btw. yes all 5spd versions had dual intake springs and single on the exhaust. (other then b18c5/b16b)
