Default update on car.

well i havent been on here much since ive been busy with school and my car... but heres the update.
sorry no pics yet, its raining out side and dont feel like getting the memory stick.
from the beginning:
car was stock all mint except for the passenger quarter panel, it had a dent there...
time went buy and i got nippon racing wheel that look like rotas, got them cause it was cheap and i liked the look.
bought an intake ebay kind.
went through 3 different exhaust systems until i found the one i like. which it is currently a magnaflow exhaust system. catalytic converter too.
also went through a couple of headers and used a dc-sport for a while.
my clutch was starting to go so i put a stg3 puck clutch with a 8lb flywheel in. needless to say the clutch was overkill and probably didnt need it til now which i will explain later. that was a strenuous job the first time. it took 3 half days to do it lol. well after breaking in the clutch there was a whistling noise that came and a grinding noise while in gear. the ISB blew out from a hard shift. and the throw out bearing was **** and separated.

when redoing the transmission i did engine work. i put p29 pistons in my y8, got it tuned and put down 144hp and 113 trq. that got my 4dr down from 16.9 to a 15.8. but to say the least, it was fun while it lasted. 2000 miles until the ringlands blew apart.

so i put it back to stock and turboed it. i ran a t3 at 11 psi for 4 months which i took off because i was popping headgaskets. sold the turbo kit to a friend and went thru yet another fresh rebuild, milled the head after the turbo. yr later deciding i want to stay SOHC over a DOHC i turboed my car again. its an ebay manifold and charge piping with a garret t3/t04 turbo. tune with crome at 6psi.

now the sad part is i hit my dads boat on the tow hitch part, and that went thru my headlight and hood. now i have a messed up bumper, and a primered hood that used to be red. i have a red bumper in the garage but needs to be fixed. my car eventually died on the way to work due to igniter coil failed. after getting it fixed on my way to work i got tboned. to say the least i was not going into work that day. i was just too pissed off. i got the check from insurance and decided to fix it my self. i popped the dent out the quarter panel and got a 99-00 rear bumper instead of my 96 bumper. looks better i think lol.. more flush with the exhaust. now im wanting to replace my exhaust with a quieter one...

just put my .02 cents out there on my car update in the 3 yrs its been with me.

i had it dumped last year and while at school went over a water port, sewage hole thing that stuck above the ground and put a hole in the tranny. so right now i put the car back up. ejsex says theres an art to driiving a dumped car haha.

but my plans are to have my hood painted, new bumper on the front and re fit the IC. i think this is more important that lowering the car atm.
