the other night i was driving down the road and my car started fish tailing back and forth and i tried counter steering and i just couldnt save it and i hoped a curb. Now my car seems to go strait down the road but the steering wheel is turned to the left?? Do you guys think that it just needs an alighment or do you think that i might of bent something?

i wanted to see if anyone could give me an idea of what could be wrong. i would think maybe something with the steering rack because the wheels see pretty straight but the steering wheel isnt staight with the tires. yea your right i need to look at it to get a better idea i just hope i didnt screw it up to bad

sounds like something could be bent. cars dont really get "knocked" out of alignment. its an adjustment that requires wrenches. id get under it and look for bent parts, or take it to have it checked. it is possible that it just needs aligned, but given that fact that the car hit a curb, i find highly unlikely.

If the tire went flat slowly over night then you most likely bent the rim and it's leaking around it. Blow the tire up and squirt some dish soap all around where the tire meets the rim, if you see bubbles you know it's bent.

Get a new tire. Check the rim for cracks. Go to an alignment shop or chassis shop or likewise. Have then inspect your suspension components. If something is bent or broken, it will need to be replaced. Best case scenario is that you get away with just getting an alignment.
You will have to get an alignment whether something is bent or not. If they replace a suspension component after an accident, it needs to be aligned.
It may or may not be your steering rack. If one front wheel goes out of alignment, the steering system will "split" the difference to make the car go straight. The steering wheel angle will be off as a result of the difference in angle.
Drive safely.

Thats exactly what I would do too. How fast were you going? If you hit a curb you more than likely did some damage somwhere....

Tru that. Had to be doing something else. Even while taking a hard corner I havent had it fishtail on me.

Really get under that **** and check EVERYTHING! Everything that could have possibly been affected by the hit or for that matter could have caused you to lose control considering you were not doing anything to cause yourself to lose control.
i came around a turn and the rode striaghens out and it was a down hill and all i remeber is the *** end sliding out back and forth like three times and then i went off the rode and hoped a curb but wutever its over with now. my question is can i used civic ek front end parts on my eg my buddy has a 4dr ek parts car?
