k pro help?!
what is the activation rpm on kpro? my activation rpm is set at 12500 for some ridiculous reason from when it was tuned. when i went to burn out at the track my redline is set at 9200 but the rpms jumped to way about that. i know the activation rpm is suppose to be set somewhere under the two step point, but i was wondering exactly what it does?
also when im driving and around 2-4000 rpms my car will jerk back and fourth a little sometimes. is this the air/fuel ratio? if so how could i tune it myself?
sorry for the noobish questions.
(this thread is on k20a.org i just wanted to see if i could get more input)
thanks.

It's called MAP cut.

tuned a while ago at rrev motorsports (dyno tuned). the car is in a different area an elevation now so i think its the air/fuel.
but with the activation rpm, would that allow the rpms to jump so high past the redline set when doing a burn out??

Again what are your mods? The activation rpm is used for antilag purposes. At a complete standstill rev limit is controlled by the Launch Rev Limiter. Once you exceed 3 mph the rev limit is controlled by Overall Rev Limiter.

2004 k20a2
hasport engine harness
golden eagle sleeved
head ported by portflow (stage 1)
arias 86.5 11.5 comp pistons
ips k2 cams
eibach springs and ti retainer
dtr header
3in madrel bend kteller exhaust
holly fuel pump
aem fuel pressure regulator
golden eagle fuel rail
short ram intake with ptr velocity stack and k&n filter
rbc mani
rc bored throttle bidy
speedwerx adapter
rdx injectors
so how can i adjust the rev limit when doing a burnout to not go that high?

Datalog and check your A/F ratios. Like I said at a complete standstill rev limit is controlled by the Launch Rev Limiter. Once you exceed 3 mph the rev limit is controlled by Overall Rev Limiter. What are these values in your kal?
i datalogged it today and it is my a/f causing it. i will upload it later. but its only sometimes in the lower rpms. 2500 and under usually. also i ran it up through vtec in 2nd gear and a/f was fine but the INJ was at like 10.19. is that normal???
