Default rebuilding my gsr motor

I am in the middle of rebuilding my 95 gsr. There is this kit eBay i'm just curious if it is just a cheap kit or if it is good. It comes with b16 pistons is it gonna help out the motor power rise or should I just stick with my stock ones? Here is a link thanks for your opinions! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

Before you spend money on a e-bay.

1st What is your stated goal for this engine ie hp, application, etc.

2nd Research on here some engine builds that match your goal

3rd Go to redpepper racing and get the service manual this will help you alot.

4th Find a good engine builder and consult him.

5th Based on his advice then start buying parts.

I really did not thank about the hp goals, I spun as bearing which has cause me to rebuild my motor. Some thing that I have always wanted done was to turbo charge it, I know with a good tune you can make at least 300hp on stock motor that would be really what I would like to be at. I have not really decided on what I would like to yet. I have a zex nitrous kit but never used it. So I have a few options just not sure yet, with that kit off of ebay with th3e b16 pistons I was just curious if there would be any improvement with power using those pistons I read a little saying that I might raise the compression, is this true what should I expect?

I wouldn't use those pistons in my GSR just cause CR will be too high for me to run cheap 91 pump gas. If you want really really high CR for a daily driven car, you better have a good tune and 93 or higher octane.

I always use whats recommended for the car premium gas like it says on the gauge cluster! I do plain on tuning it shortly after I get the motor broke in when ever that happens with hondata

Yeah, that's cool then if you have 93 octane, your CR will be around 11.5:1 depending on milling, decking, HG thickness, valve job, etc, but you should be good w/ a good tune.

I've read that that using ctr pistons would not be that good of Idea because to high of compression for pump gas is this true? How would it run? Could I hear form anyone thats done this before

Here you go, have some fun

http://www.clubcivicquebec.com...f.php

I wouldn't go above 12:1 for a daily driver on 93 octane. Also, I wouldn't get that kit, that water pump isn't that great, just stick to oem water pump and timing belt.
