Default Anyone know where to get a good, rather cheap, mandrel bent b pipe?

I have the AEM CAI, about to install the comptech 4-2-1 header and have the thermal r & d axel back. I need to get a good b pipe to replace all the bottlnecks in the fatory one. What size do you recommend...2.25 in? Does anyone know a place online or someone who sells peices like this that bolt on not weld on and are less than $150? Has anyone else done this? If so, what mods did you have and did you feel any power gains? Also, I dont want my exhaust tone to change...I dont mind if it gets louder or quieter but I like that deep tone it makes! Thanks

I'm kinda in the same situation myself...

Can you just order a b-pipe from a place like Apex'I?

Or know of another company that will sell only the b-pipe (specifically for a CTR)?

I'll probably regret this............

JC Whitney has some good quality mandrel bends in various sizes in aluminized steel. Their stainless steel bends are too 'tight' a radius for good flow.

You'll need a cooperative/intelligent muffler shop, 2 90 degree bends and 2 45 degree bends and the shop should be able to figure it out from there. Check with them ahead of time and see if they want the swaged ends or not.

You might also want to check with Dave at SMSP and save a lot of hassles.

The type one is 2.25" ID at the flanges at the cat and after the resonator and then a 1.88"ID at the axle back joint.
