your car is obd-1. and you need to be more specific on the motor cuz there is about 3 or 4 different b16's. there is one that is obd-0, obd-1, and obd-2. whats your exact engine code? and a p28 is a d16z6 ecu...so yeah you need a b16 ecu.
then you probably have the obd-1 jdm b16a from hmotorsonline.com. thats my guess. there is a way to tell if it is obd-1 or obd-0 but im not sure how. how many o2 sensors do you have? if you have 1 its obd-1 and if you have 2 or 3 im pretty sure its obd-2.
well if it just says b16a on ur block then u have an obd0 motor. the p28 is fine for ur motor as long as the chip is good. im running a chipped p28 on a b16a in a eg also.
well is there like a obd0 p28 and a obd1 p28??? cuz i am just havening trouble getting it running like runs and idles ruff bad and vtec and working u think the chipp could be bad idk what kinda chip it is are any thing
