Car starts up fine, soon after start up engine light comes on and the car start idling up and down. Does anyone have a fix to this porblem?

check the code on the ecu. the ecu is located under the driver's seat and there is led light behind a little window. pull the window down and count the flashes. long flash = 1.

It sounds like it is probably the IACV - Idle Air Control Valve.

 

Thanks for your reply, I will check the ECU. The IACV does not have any electrical wires, correct? I just won’t make sure that I’m working on the correct part.

 

that IACV does have an electrical connection. It should be on the front of the intake manifold and have a white connector.
