Default Idle surging fixed, now car dies??

Well I took my FITV off to try and fix my idle surging, turns out the white plate that holds the spring down was almost all the way unscrewed so I tightened it back up and put everything back together. Now on a cold start my car idles fine at about 1k-1100 and after its warmed up it's a steady 7-800. The problem is after it's warmed up if I go to the store and come back out and turn it back on, or if I sit at a stop light for too long the rpms slowly drop until it dies.. Any ideas?

Any CEL codes? If not, try cleaning the IACV and adjusting the idle speed (see FAQs sticky).

It may help to reset the ECU. Also check whether the PCV valve or the PVC or breather hose is clogged.
