Default just wanted some epinions on this turbo

did some search on this turbo but couldnt find anything so i decided to post it up. so i was wondering if anybody used the garrett t3/t4e 57 trim turbo? http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=TBN was wondering if this turbo was capable of making 400whp on my b18c1 on pump gas. wanted to see couple peoples set up with this turbo.

LOL. this turbo is probably the most commonly used turbo on b-series engines. maybe even hondas in general. there is plenty of info on this site regarding that turbo

i did search. i typed it in and nothing came up. i also typed in just garrett and found about 30 posting but nothing on the t3/t4e 57trim.

is the Garrett T3/TO4E the same as the t3/t48. cause thats the onlything i found when i searched.

if it is the same would u guys pick the 50trim over the 57. its going to be my daily/weekend race car.

It will be a little difficult to answer your question since you didnt specify your setup and which a/r exh housing you will want to use, spool characteristics etc, but the higher power you want to make and higher in the rpm range the higher a/r will be what you need.


but yes the turbo will meet your goals in a generalized answer to go with your general question.
