new dizzy still have a no start problem
About a week ago I posted a problem on here, 97 accord w/h22 ob1, p13 and just bolt ons. when I last posted I was looking for a internal coil dizzy, got one and still have a no start. I got curious of why the engine smelled so strong of gas. I took the top of the mani plentum off and found it full of fuel... literaly!! it spilled out as I took it off! the only code i get from my ecu is a ect, i'm basically
harness was built by rywire. I did all the obvious, including new ground wires Give you guys a little back ground to what happened when the car died. after finishing the swap I started the engine it ran fine I drove the car around, the next day I went to start it up to show my friend and it started fine but after a few minutes of it running the engine started to rev on it's own and it didn't pulsate it climbed to 2500rpms and stayed there I freaked out and shut it off. looked over everything. It all seemed to be fine, tried to start it again and all it did was turn over acted like it wasn't getting spark smelled like gas. still to this day I get the same thing no spark. the car sat for about a year before I decided to try again. I'm getting frustrated with it and just had to walk away today. I've bought both honda service manuels tried everything I can think of. I got all new harnesses and I'm thinking of just starting from scratch, and idea's at this point I'm up for anything!

WOW! That is amazing! I can't think of anything that would cause the intake to fill with fuel other than the valves not opening. Were all four plenums full of fuel?
well you kinda need an ECT sensor for proper warm up procedure and an engine that drives properly. If the ecu doesnt know what temperature the coolant is at then it doesnt know how much fuel to give at different engine temperatures.
You had so much fuel in the intake runners that it backed up into the intake manifold, as high as the plenum?
You should take a look at the timing belt, make sure it is on there correctly, and then make sure that the throttle cable and butterfly are functioning correctly and not jammed open or anything.
