Default Radio Code under CD player???

So I finally got around to getting tired of not having a radio. If anyone remembers my previous threads, I reset my battery and lost the little paper that had my radio code on it.

The code is nowhere else on my vehicle. Ive been told to check door jams, under the rear trunk lid, trunk liners, glove compartments (center and passenger), under the engine bay fuse box cover and the one under my steering column. Its not even in my owners manual packet thing or in any of the books my car came with.

The first time this happened the dealer said they found the code on a sticker under my trunk lid.. that sticker has magically disappeared. Even the dealership cant find the code on the car!

So they told me they usually get it from underneath the actual OEM radio unit. It should be printed underneath.

I have my radio in my hand.. I dont see the 5 digit code...anywhere.. anybody know where it might be under this 5"x 5" radio...?

there is a TINY sticker with the code that should be on top of the center console between the two air vents (maybe on top / around the hazard lights button area) but the last digit MIGHT be missing. Ie mine is "3223" and the "secret" digit is a 2. so it's 32232. yeah you pay the dealership $50 for a number.

I don't know but it could just be four digits lol. I only messed with my stock cd player once and replaced it with an aftermarket. Check elsewhere on ur center console for the sticker too. It's the size of a postage stamp.

you can get a radio code from the serial number thats on your radio unit, the actual code will not be printed on the unit. I work at an acura dealer in canada so if you pm me your serial number i can try to get you your code. an easier way to get the serial number is hold down numbers 1 and 6 (your radio preset buttons) and turn the radio on. It will give you 2 sets of numbers and that will be your serial number.

I had the same problem and pulled my radio, took the radio serial to the dealer and in about 3 seconds they gave me the code, free.
