Default Turbo intake manifold ( JG Engine Dynamics ) on N/A motor - power loss normal?

Just finished installing said intake manifold. It's basically just a big cylindrical plenum with runners 50% shorter than stock:

Anyhoo, I don't have my turbo on yet because I need to weld up the charge pipes. In the mean time, I did a few test runs tonight and it looks like my AFRs are about 0.5 richer across the board. Is this normal?! I was expecting lots of low end loss, seeing as the runners are so short, but I didn't expect to lose up top as well. Does this manifold suck or what?

Well, it's a turbo manifold on an N/A motor, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to suck or not. One thing's for sure, it sucks *** on the flow bench. I just don't know if flow-bench sucking translates into boosted sucking.

80 views and no good answers? Geez. I even gave you guys some pretty pics to look at.

Maybe I'm just trying to justify keeping the IM, but it seems to me that this manifold doesn't do good on the flow bench because it retains the smaller (stock) runners, and should therefore have a broader torque range...

I guess only the dyno can answer my questions for sure.

i have never been satisfied with any JG product dating back to 1996 when i almost lost body parts due to bad engine parts, and by body parts i mean flesh!!!!!

seriously tho, i havent used that particular manifold but lets see some of the Victor X guys in here as well, i have not seen that many people "LOVE" that manifold like they do the skunk2 and other OEM duplicates.

My victorX leaked like hell, my AFRs were rich in every spot, even boost which told me something wasnt right, and i felt like the car was just super sluggish even woth a bit more power
