im looking for a new oil line for my ls/vtec and i found a good deal on a 18" line. will 18" be enough. im pretty sure it will be, i just want to double check and dont feel like taking it off to measure it.

any help will be appreciated

 

not sure on my length, cause i just re-did mine. but the length you mentiond seems to be ok. 18-22 i think will be fine with the looks of mine. mine was made from stainless steel braided line to fit -6 an fittings.-6 an fittings from a golden eagle sandwhich plate to a -6 an fitting with a adapter to fit the head.

 

why you want to change out your line anyway?

 

its an old line and some of the braids have broke. they are pretty sharp, lol. got a few cuts on my hand changing the oil filter. i seen a couple of th braids have broke so i might as well replace it. not too hard or expensive

 

oh, when i was doing my fuel line, also stainless steel i had to shorten then line and redo the fittings. needless to say my fingers know what a pin cushion feels like from the exposed steeel braids.

 

those things are sharp *** hell. my one hand is tore up pretty bad
