Default decisions, decisions, decisions?

taxes are coming up and i need new suspension. my b+g's are blown. been researching on different options for myself. ive been wanting the function and forum type 2 but their taking forever. ive been thinking of tein ss or progress. some people love tein ss and some people ive read say their over rated and crappy. i know progress had their problems in the past. has anybody bought them recently and how did u like them? ive looked on here and 7thgen but its all old info. anybody know the ep3 buddy club n+ would fit the em2? ive installed jic magics from an ep3 on an em2 and it fitted no problem. just let me hear some feedback on what u guys are liking. no cheap crap please. thanks

IMO..K Sport... im going in that direction when i get my income tax. But i definitely heard alot of people get Teins just for the name and they're not the best bang for your buck or you can get Koni/gc setup like most people have and they say its a quality ride

i have the ep3 buddy clubs installed on my car. I find that they handle better than my previous setup of neuspeed race springs and koni yellow shocks. I can't compare them to other suspensions since I never had them on my car.

I have the BC N+ spec dampers on my car.
(edit: made a mistake i don't have the racing spec dampers)

I haven't had any problems with the BCs. They fit my es1 perfect so i'm assuming it will fit any 7th gen.

I had my car pretty slammed before scraping everywhere. I never measured the drop but there was alot more room on the sleeve to go even lower.

any people, including boilermaker and toyomatt went from 2000+ suspensions over to a 1k-1200 GC/Koni setup so that tells you what they think of that setup...

i went with tein basics and i'm happy with that. the onyl difference between basics and ss is the ability to adjust dampening and that's costing you more $$$. everything else is the same. buying me a second pair when I get money. that way I can overhaul 1 and drive on one.

edit: oh old thread.

are ur b + g's leaking or how do u know they are blown? i've had my tein basics for almost 6 years now. Almost 70K + miles. They are still fine to my knowledge, i just want to know how you guys know ur shocks are blown when they are gas filled.
