Ksport or tien please give info Thanks.....
Hey well i am going go with a full coilover on my 1997 civic, but i have narrowed it down to either ksport or tien, and a lot of my friends have said that tien is overrated and that i should get ksport, they are about the same price so I just need some ideas on people that might have had either one please help me out it would be great thanks, This does belong on the suspension forum, but i never get any help there, i don't know why.

Tein is far from overrated. I've run there coilover systems on all my cars. I've also installed many of there systems. You can't go wrong with Tein.

I believe the tien basic is the same price as the k sport.
Im running the ksport setup on my car and hear problems of the rear shock blowing and how crappy they are, but i never had a problem with it on my car. I also autocross with it and DD. its pretty stiff but wish i had custom spring rate as im hopefully getting more competitive in autoX.

i was just wondering cause you mentioned that you wanted to find Tein's that had the same price as Ksports. you will NOT find any Tein's in the $575 budget.
but, im sure you probably already knew that.

ksport on ebay from good reliable people for the basic setup is 675 while a a performace shop near my way sells tien basic for 675 as well, but the shop is telling me that ksport is made in china while tien is jap, so i am changing my mind on ksport, not to say that they are bad, but my history with china made products has always been horrible thanks for all the comments guys, think i will go with ither the basic tien or the ss ones which are 875, but have adjustable damper, not sure yet.
