Default I can't get my boost up

Hey guys, I can't get my boost past 8.4 pounds. I have a drag kit with three inch down pipe, with a tial 38 mm waste gate. I have my profec b spec II hooked up however the boost doesnt budge. I even unplugged the waste gate however its not budging past 8.4. Plus my waste gate when connected doesn't even open, due to the fact I am running an open wastegate I should hear it, however I don't so I am confused and just can't figure this out. if my waste gate don't open or even when i disconnect it why doesnt my boost go up? whats limiting it? Please if somebody can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

do you have a exhaust leak before the exhaust housing on the turbo? do you have the fire ring between the wastegate and manifold? did you check to make sure the wastegate diaphram isn't torn? make sure to try running a boost psi (off comp. housing) only line to the side port on the wastegate and leave the top port open.

how r you reading boost? off a gauge? off the profec? make sure the line isnt pinched in either case.

also are you sure the wastegate is hookup the correctly? side port should go to compressor housing. unhook the ebc and make sure that isnt the problem.

lastly, as mentioned about check for leaks preturbo and in the charge-pipes

it was a dumb mistake. the turbonetcs raptor bov has two ports on it for a vacuum line and i accidently put the vacuum line from IM to the bottom port but it was suppose to go on the top port. Putting it on the bottom port keeps it open. Top port closes it accordingly. I asked multiple people if the way i had it was right and they all said yes but now I Proved em wrong hah

Thanks everyone
