I get a whining/whistling noise. Whether the clutch is in or out, in gear accelerating, or stopped, it doesn't matter. I put a new ls haed on and new timeing belt.

Sounds nasty! Might it be the idler pulley bearing? Did you fit a new idler pulley? If it's the old one then it might not have made a noise if then old belt was a little loose, but might now if the belt tension is a bit tighter (?).

 

no i did not put a new one its still the old one
