Went to see that '94 Del Sol Si that's for sale
I went to the dealer and the car wasn't there, it's at the body shop, I assumed it was getting the hail damage worked out. I get directions to the body shop and stop in to see it. The driver's side front fender is crunched and taken off, it's being fixed, along with the hail damage that is pretty extensive, all over the car. Looks like a new windshield. The car has 126K miles on it. The car was pretty dirty inside and out, but the interior was nice, one small tear about half way up the drivers side seat on the edge, smaller than a quarter. Interior could be cleaned up pretty good. Factory cassette player and air conditioning. The little door over the ash tray seemed to be broken. The trunk looked ok, everything in place, no rust that I can see. Nice tires. The body shop guy put a charge on the battery so i could start it, that thing runs so quiet! Very smooth, no knocking or ticking. Engine is pretty clean. The guy is asking $3500, not sure how much damage will be removed at the body shop. Is it worth $3500 at the high end? I figure if I make and offer I'll start around $2600 and go from there. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I wouldn't really go higher than $3000, unless you want this particular car pretty bad. To me, $3000 would be a good buy, but I wouldn't want to pay a "fair" price for an Si model. But I'm cheap
. The car does sound clean...any rust on the rear fenders?
Del Sols are great, really fun cars. If you can bargain for $3000 or less, pick it up.

Make sure the a/c works......the R12 is kinda expensive and the compressor could be fuxored.
