Default 1995 CIVIC EG SUSPENSION ISSUES

I HAVE A 95 CIVIC HATCHBACK AND HAD A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS..
FIRST OF ALL I WANTED SOME OPINIONS ABOUT THE ISSUE THAT I CURRENTLY HAVE...WHEN I DRIVING THE STEERING WHEEL SEEMS TO GO TO THE LEFT AS IM DRIVING OR SOMETIMES IT PULLS TO THE RIGHT REALLY HARD AND NEVER SEEMS TO BE STABLE LIKE ANY OTHER CAR..WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE PROBLEM?? I HAVE ACTUALLY ALREADY REPLACED ALL 4 SHOCKS TO SEE IF THAT WAS THE PROBLEM...
ALSO I WAS CHECKING ON A BUSHING KIT FOR MY CAR...WHAT DOES THAT BUSHING KIT GONNA HELP WITH?? IS IT WORTH IT...BASICALLY I WANT BUILD A NICE SUSPENSION SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT BOUNCE LIKE CRAZY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE CAR FEELS SMOOTH AND I CAN TAKE GOOD CORNERS..I ALSO HAVE OMNI POWER LCA;S AND FRONT AND REAR STRUT BARS...ACCORDING TO THIS GUY THAT I KNOW HE THINKS THAT THE PROBLEM WITH MY SUSPENSION IS THAT I NEED A NEW POWER STEERING RACK...IS THAT SOMETHING THAT COULD BE RELATED?? THANX

1st off. STOP THE CAPSLOCK!!!

2nd - has your car been in a wreck??

3rd - when was your last alignment?
did they give you a print out of where the car was at after alignment? Get this done

4th - if your bushings are cracked and worn badly, this can add to your problems - Bushings are worth it. Will make your car feel new again, well almost if you have newer shocks and springs too.

5th - if your ball joints are worn, this doesn't help either. Get new upper control arms

6th - tie rods and stearing rack bushings can be at fault as well. Play in your steering can obviously effect stability. inputs should feel direct. if they aren't, then you might have a problem there.. .

7th -

Did you ever consider an alignment? That should be the 1st thing to do. If its not that. One of your arms could be bent such as uca, lca, tie rod so on.

Yes, absolutely. If the rack is bad, you will need to replace it with a new, good used, or a remanufactured unit. Have an experienced professional check out the rack for you, and inspect the rest of the suspension for problems while he is at it.

If the rack is indeed bad, replace it and then have the car aligned (provided there are no other problems). Do not align the car before replacing a bad rack, because it has to be re-done afterwards. However, you may want to have the alignment at least checked to get an idea of how badly the rest of the car is out of line, especially if it has been damaged in a collision, curb hit, pothole, etc.
