Trunk Smell Like Turd
Happy New Years Peeps.
Ok well my trunk doesnt smell like turd. But at times after driving I would open my trunk to get my things. Often times there would be this exhaust smell or something like that.
This reminded me of when I had my M and I would smell this as well. It turned out my Supersprint exhaust hanger was broken slightly and the exhaust was going up to the trunk. So knowing this I checked my stock OEM exhaust and there is no visible sign. So I have no idea what the hell it could be.
The only other thing I could think is that my tires rub sometimes, but that wouldnt make the trunk smell right? I sorta smell it from my rear wheels as well, but again my tires rarely rub and I would think the smell would've gone away with the amount of driving from the time it rubs to the time I stop.
Its just starting to bug me lol.

There's this one way vent thing with a rubber flap right above the passenger side exhaust outlet. Backdraft I'm guessing. Dig under your carpet, below the passenger taillight.
Either that, or because the driver smells like a turd.
