I was wondering if anyone has done or know anyone that has been able to run 400 hp on stock rods? I know people say you need to get forged rods and pistons if you want over 300 hp safely but most of the time I see the piston get damaged I have heard of cases of rods bending and some snapping but not usually at around 400hp.
So..basically what I want to know is..if anyone has done or know anyone that has could they provide input? Now I know what you SHOULD do so dont come here and tell me that please, I want to know about those who have tried it and their experience....

many have made over 400 on stock rods. Not the safest thing to do, but you never know how long it will hold together

there's a thread somewhere on here that is called most horsepower on a stock bottom end. It list most Honda motors with all STOCK bottom ends that have made big hp. I think the highest ls/vtec and b16 are in the 600s. Its pretty interesting to see. I never thought it was possible till I found that thread. Just try searching it
