How long do these ******* last? I put 4 days on them and they're looking 1/2 worn... and hardly any street miles.

i love those tires , but they lasted less than a month with my driving!!!!

 

I tend to drive like a reasonable individual on the street, with respect to my tires. Shifter cables and motor mounts have a dissenting opinion on this however. I was asking about actualy track time and their longevity.

I figured i got about 110 autocross runs on my first set. That includes probably half in Ft. Myers, which is abrasive concrete. that was from brand new to cords showing, and most of the road miles in between. I drive fairly aggessivly on the streets, but its nothing like racing.

If i had more static camber, they would have lastest longer...i really ate up the outer blocks.

 

Yikes... i think my kuhmo victoracers lastlonger than that... hrm..

 

Ft. Myres runs courses that are ~ 1 mile long....~85 seconds. So compute that, and the fact that Ft. Myers is OLD abrasive concrete, and the number almost doubles as to "normal autocross runs". The 2nd set is doing well, mainly because i havent done too many events with them this year, due to having tranny issues mid-year...but still have 9 events on them, including a NT and a ProSolo. Still seeing the residuals of tread on the outter blocks.

 

I just ordered some to sell my HX's. someone buy em! wait, how do HX's with azenis do as race wheels?

 

Ok, this makes much more sense then... however it looks like i'm only going to get 4 track weekends out of the azenis plus some easy street miles. Welp, i know i'll be ordering more of them
