Default just hooked upmy b16, HIGH idle @ 3000k rpm

no codes

what do I troubleshoot?

Also, i noticed that water leaks from the timing belt area, cant really see where exactly. Any ideas why that is? im thinking water pump seal? idk

You could try fiddling with this. It could also be a vacuum leak...

1) fix whatevers leaking water first off, no need in worrying about your idle when your leaking something
2) check for any vaccuum leaks
3) on the back of the motor, the IACV and the FITV run on the same coolant line. The IACV sits on the back of the intake manifold, and then FITV is on the throttle body.

That should give you an idea of what it is i'm talking about. That thing becomes loose inevitably, so just tighten it down like the FAQ shows you.

if its idling that high you have some kind of vacuum leak, spray some carb cleaner around all the gaskets while the car is running, it should change idle if the carb cleaner gets in, then you know where the leak is.
