Have anyone seen Acura's 400hp concept car that gets 42 mpg
This car was recently unveiled at a car show (I think it was Detroit, but I am not sure). Honda says the DN-X can achieve 42 mpg and has a 0.23 coefficient of drag, which is a full 25 percent lower than that of the mid-engine the NSX. It is a hybrid vehicle.
Kind of crazy looking in a concept car kind of way, but I bet that it will look pretty good if it makes it into production.
I am not sure if this picture works.
Looks like I had trouble posting it again, Oh well

Nah, it's fine like that... 2 seater wold just be an NSX eater, and I doubt Honda really wants to do that. But chances are, this is gonna end up like the hundreds ofgreat concepts they tease us with, they are gonna kill it.
Yeah, I saw that thing in Road & Track, then again in Honda-Tuning. I think it's pretty cool, but, the'll never release it to the public...
4 passengers...
I say go all out and make it for 2.

last i recall the mclaren F1 sat 3.. the driver in the middle with 2 passengers on each side
either way
400hp?? probably with a 4500lbs curb weight haha
That might be the next base for the NSX if I have read correctly. According to MotorTrend or Car and Driver, the next generation NSX will sport the driveline of this concept car, a hybrid of sorts.
I really like Honda's concept of economy/efficiency and performance into one. However i beleive these factors contradict one another in a consumers point of view.. those who are after performance cars don't care about fuel economy and would rather purchase a Corvette or similar. And those who ask for fuel economy don't drive 2 door coupe performance cars around either.. You don't see riced up Civic's with stickers saying "40mpg y0!".
Personally i think it's a great idea by Honda but i doubt they'll get alot of success out of this.. of course, i'm only stereotyping here and there are always exceptions, but it's the majority over minority that matters money wise, i hope i'm wrong, because this would probably result in them moving away even further from the performance car market, in the near future.
It's just my opinion..
