maintainence on a 91-94 NSX
Im thinking about getting a used NSX, several I have found for great prices. I will of course have them checked out, but I want to know what to expect for general maintainence costs on a daily driven, older NSX.
It'll prolly need tires and timing belt, but generall speaking, are NSXs costly to maintain?
How much do you usually spend on oil changes(oil + filter) if you do it yourself?
What kinda gas mileage can I expect from an older one?
I will definetly try to find one in the best conidtion, but its expected that a car of this age will need some type of work.

There's a special section on http://www.nsxprime.com in the FAQ. Every answer you ever wanted to know about the NSX is probably there.

Tires. The OEM tires (Yokohama A022H or Bridgestone RE010) were designed for the NSX and are terrific for handling. They cost around $200 each. Rear tires generally last 5-8K miles, which you can increase slightly by taking some of the toe out of the alignment. Front tires last about twice that long.
Other than that, most of the schedule is similar to that of other Hondas, with costs of parts only slightly higher.
Clutch replacements can be expensive, though. The OEM clutch typically lasts 30-50K miles (some much more than that though). A replacement runs about $2200, parts and labor, for the '91-96; the '97+ is more expensive.
