Default honda gurus and electricians please help

okay im having a problem with my dash lights..i have a 7 inch flip out screen custom mounted in my integra but used all the normal wiring to wire in a aftermarket deck.. the cigerette lighter is unplugged because it wont fit with the deck in.. and my dimmer switch wires are tapped off right now because i cant seem to make use of my dimmer switch at all..its not the dimmer switch because ive tried a few differnt ones..i just cant get the dash lights to come on when the lights are on..ive tried just about everything is there anyway to power my dash lights without the dimmer switch???

so it works without the aftermarket radio hooked up?, look under your hood. is your 7.5 fuse blown? also you dont need the dimmer wire hooked up for lighting, maybe not even the illumination one depending on your radio.. mine doesnt use either..

you need to jump wires on the dimmer switch harness. (Which ones, I forget, use a multimeter to figure it out) OR just plug in the dimmer switch and throw it behind the dash.
