Does the dimmer switch affect dash lights?
hey guys i just got done putting my dash in my integra, i couldnt find the plug for the dimmer switch but i didnt think it ws a big deal, now my cluster lights dont work, everything else is fine. whats your input? can anyone run outside and unplug their dimmer switch and tell me if your dash lights still light up...thank guys!
im looking at a wiring diagram right now and it clearly flows threw the dimmer switch, i just dont want to guess, not sure if it will just be the brightest with not option of dimming without the switch (what i assumed)
As mentioned, the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller", [sometimes mistakenly called a dimmer switch] must be plugged in for most dash lights to work, [or the plug needs to be jumped, black to red] it supplies the ground, [through resistance] to the dash lights.
It has no effect on the heater, unless hbcrazy88 means the lights on the heater control panel. 94
