how do u kno wat kind of tranny u have because the guy who sold me the car said that he threw on a b16 tranny...but im not sure...how to identify it?? wat boltons would be the best to throw on my LS in an eg hatch????

Depends on what your going to be using the car for...if you have to commute on the highway/interstate regularly, then I wouldn't go for the B16 transmission because your RPM's will be pretty high for just regular driving (see crazyguy's post).

Sure, the car will accelerate quicker, but for a daily driver, I wouldn't recommend it.

Depends on what your going to be using the car for...if you have to commute on the highway/interstate regularly, then I wouldn't go for the B16 transmission because your RPM's will be pretty high for just regular driving (see crazyguy's post).
